Marcel Syens – KIH Representative for Canada
Marcel is a well-seasoned manufacturer’s representative and has been involved with Industrial sales for well over 27 years. He has established a very good reputation, and has weathered both great successes and challenges, during the course of his career.
The bulk of his time in the field and working with distributor reps has been with Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) for over 22 years. retiring from them in 2022 and being invited to Double-Eagle.ca. He is a seasoned professional and has seen many changes during his tenure with MSA. They honed a great go-to-market strategy with distribution over the years and Marcel has shown he is successful in engaging with distributors and their reps, in both the Industrial and Fire Sectors. He received the prestigious President’s Circle Award for excellence in sales in 2019 from MSA.
Earlier in his career, Marcel has also worked as a distributer sales rep, selling safety and Industrial products, giving him first hand, working, understanding of distribution and their challenges.
Marcel has also volunteered with many organizations within those sectors, over the years he has served with Provincial Mine Safety and Mine Rescue, and served with several provincial fire organizations including, three; four-year terms, on the executive committee for the provincial Fire Chief’s Conference and Trade Expo.
